Pretty Magazines with Pretty Cakes and Perfect Picnics

From the cover to the very end, the magazine"Good Taste" from Woolworths is so very pretty
These apple choc tops are simply irresistable. I know my class will love it!
All the cakes seem so do-able and the vintage styling is superb.

But the Fathers Day picnic styling is just so inspiring and makes me want to rush out and create the perfect picnic party.

Even the esky is so tasteful and arty.
Apparently they have more online at www.australiangoodtaste.com.au/goodtimes
including downloads to print. So I'm off to do just that.
Bonsoir and have a happy weekend!

Beach Decor Inspiration

As we start to enjoy these sunny days with the warmth on the skin and the pretty skies, our thoughts begin to wander to days by the beach. Wouldn't this be heavenly? Soaking in a tub under a rainfall shower as one enjoys the beautiful views of the beach.
Long, lazy afternoons
Twilight picnics
Market umbrellas and Moroccan lanterns with deliciously light Turkish towells

Soothing breezes, sights and sounds together with beautiful blue decor to echo the sea.
Happy times for all to share.

All in the Details

(Veranda House)
This picture shows how wonderfully an amazing collection of blue tones and patterns, with obviously so many stories to tell, can be brought together.
When the details are so cleverly chosen
(Tricia Guild)
Whether it be soft blues or more vivid
( Love the use of glass for contrast)
The finer details bring so much intrigue and interest to keep us captivated and wanting more
Like these bows and the little bird perched on the curtain rail
Or this perfect, pastel blue stool
To also be enjoyed on cake plates for a spot of afternoon tea
Trinket boxes and old, faded blue bound books
Such dreamy and coastal blue striped blinds.
Yet perfect to protect the house on those hot, sunny days.
Those carefully chosen details will always be
what really speaks to me.
